Travel Team Information

Travel Team Costs: 
$750 DUE IN FULL to reserve your spot

Includes lodging, uniforms, tournament entry fee, partial meals (breakfast & lunch), insurance, coaching, & program administration. Regarding partial meals, breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Florida Region for athletes attending the tournament.  Athletes should bring enough meal money to cover dinner each day.  The amount to bring is up to you, we do not have a set itinerary for restaurants at this point.  $20 to $25 per day should cover additional food costs. Athletes are welcome to bring their own food. 

Note: Athletes will travel to and from the event with their parent or a designated chaperone. 

Team Florida athletes will have access to a team Licensed Massage Therapist. Athletes requiring massage therapy will have priority to this added benefit. Please visit the link below for information about massage therapy Rx Massage Therapy.

USAV All-Star Championships

Travel Day (Back to FL)
*Do Not plan to fly back on Sunday July 27 as the Championships do run the whole day.

Team Florida FAQs

The athletes/families are responsible for getting to Madison, WI. Please arrive by July 16, 6PM. We are having to split the athlete/parent meeting this year. Girls teams will be at 7:00PM, boys teams will be at 7:45PM.

Your athlete is allowed to travel with any other family that is participating in the program. If that is not an option please contact the office at 352-742-0080 or [email protected] 

The tournament runs for 4 days. There is one practice day on July 23 and then the tournament is July 24-27. Please plan to leave on July 28.
Our staff will be assigning rooms by different positions and different clubs (when possible). There will be four athletes per room this year.
Yes, between breakfast & 10PM each day. Cell phones will be turned off and collected at night during room checks and will be available the next morning at breakfast. (10PM-6AM no cell phone)
An emergency contact number will be provided to the parents
All athletes will be provided a Team Florida delegation staff contact number; they can use the hotel phone in their room to reach us. We will have all athletes’ emergency contact info on file.
Parents are more than welcome to stay at the same hotel but it is not required. Please note that this years hotel is not within walking distance. The athletes will be chartering to the competition venue.
The athletes will be under supervision by the Team Florida All-Star Coaching Staff and the Delegation staff.
Once the athlete/parent meeting has concluded on the first day, the athletes will be under full direction of the Team Florida program. They will only be allowed to be with their coaches and teammates while participating in the program.
