Indoor Junior Bids and Rankings

Indoor Ranking Guidelines

The girls indoor junior ranking guidelines are governed by the Florida Region Ranking Committee. This committee is made up of seven to nine Club Directors from across the Florida Region.
IMPORTANT FOR 10U-17U Teams – Teams are required to participate in three Level I tournaments during the playing season to be ranked. Any team not participating in three Level I USAV tournaments during the current season will be given a one score (1.000) for the tournaments not played in; up to three ones, to calculate their final ranking.
Indoor Jr. Rankings
Ranking reports will be posted by the end of day on Thursdays once the season begins. Rankings may not be posted if there are no new tournaments during the previous weekend, or if the results are delayed by the respective tournament.
*Note: JNQ Bids will be added to the Ranking Report as soon as they are confirmed with USAV (this may take 1-2 weeks).

The Florida Region has no involvement in the at-large selection process and is not provided with information regarding awarded bids. Trickle Down Bid PROCESS
The Florida Region will notify teams that are eligible to receive a trickle down bid. Trickle down bids will only be awarded once the upgraded bids have been confirmed with the national USAV office.

Florida USAV Gold Series

  • National bids that were originally earned at the Florida USAV Gold Series will be trickled down in this event only.

Florida Regional 18Q

  • All teams that come into this event with a bid will be required to play in the National Bid division. All bids will trickle down within the National Bid division. Teams that have previously earned Open or National bids will not be eligible to compete in a bid division at this event.

ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge

  • All teams that come into this event with a bid will be required to play in the National Bid division. All bids will trickle down within the National Bid division. Teams that have previously earned Open or National bids will not be eligible to compete in a bid division at this event.

If a returned bid is offered at the event or within 30 days after the completion of the event, teams are required to accept the trickle down bid.*

  • *One-Time Waiver of Post-Event Trickle-Down Bid Penalties

    For the 2025-2026 season, the Region will waive penalties associated with declining trickle-down bids awarded after the completion of an event. Teams are still expected to accept bids awarded on-site at the event, as outlined in current policy. This waiver applies only to post-event trickle-down bids and will expire at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, unless otherwise extended.
​If a returned bid is offered more than 30 days after the completion of the original event, teams are allowed to decline the trickle down bid.
IMPORTANT - ASICS FL VB CHALLENGE

Any team wishing to compete for a bid, offered by the Florida Region at the ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge (AFVC), must compete in at least three* (3) USAV Level I ranking events. The deadline for bid eligibility will be as of two weeks prior to the first day of the AFVC. Note: As long as a team has been accepted (and competes) in 3 USAV Level I ranking events that happen prior to the AFVC, that team will be considered eligible to compete in a bid division at the AFVC.   • EXCEPTION FOR THE 2026-2027 SEASON ONLY: Due to the 2027 ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge being scheduled earlier in the season than in previous years, the minimum participation requirement for bid eligibility at the 2027 AFVC will be reduced from three (3) USAV Level I ranking events to two (2) USAV Level I ranking events. The deadline for bid eligibility will remain two weeks prior to the first day of the AFVC. Teams that have been accepted into and compete in two (2) USAV Level I ranking events that take place prior to the AFVC will be considered eligible to compete in a bid division at the 2027 AFVC.


    This exception applies only to the 2027 AFVC and will expire at the conclusion of the 2026-2027 season    . Beginning with the 2028 AFVC, the standard requirement of three (3) USAV Level I ranking events will once again be in effect.

Bid acceptance information

Note: Bid availability is subject to change. Any team winning a JRQ bid will be required to accept the bid at the conclusion of the event and prior to accepting the respective medals and team award. All teams who earn a bid (National, American, or Freedom) or receive a trickle down bid (USA, Liberty, American) at a JRQ must accept that bid. Additionally, teams playing in a JRQ must accept a reallocated bid that may be awarded to the Region after the event has concluded (up to 30 days after the event). If a team does not accept a bid earned, the club in which that team competes for will be banned from the same event the following season in all age groups and divisions.
