Host a USAV event in the Florida Region

Age definition guidelines for the 2025/2026 season

The Spectator Code of Conduct is required to be posted at all USAV events in the Florida Region.
This waiver allows a child aged 8 or under in designated bench areas with a rostered adult (who must be the child’s parent or legal guardian).
This waiver is only valid at Florida Region sanctioned events and may only be valid for one event.
The Florida Region does not issue age waivers. Please review the USAV Age Definitions, found on the USAV Forms and Information Page.

The Florida Region of USA Volleyball prohibits the possession, sale, purchase, and consumption of alcoholic beverages at all sanctioned youth/junior volleyball events. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be present or consumed on the premises of any sanctioned/insured space of any venue, including common areas inside the sanctioned/insured area.
Gender Competition Policy (rev. August 2025)

Teams receiving a Florida Region bid to the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships (GJNC) are required to accept the bid on-site at the conclusion of the event where the bid is awarded.
Bid acceptance, whether it is an original or trickle down bid, is mandatory unless the offer is made 30 or more days after the conclusion of the Florida USAV Gold Series (for 13u-17u age groups), the ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge (for 11u-17u age groups) or the Florida Regional 18s Qualifier (for 18s age group only).

Any team wishing to compete for a Florida Region bid at the ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge (AFVC) must compete in at least three (3) USAV Level I ranking events. The deadline for bid eligibility will be as of two weeks prior to the first day of the AFVC.

The Florida Region Ranking Challenge Committee is a volunteer committee composed of 4-6 club directors from the Florida Region. The Committee helps with seeding challenges for the ASICS Florida Volleyball Challenge (AFVC).
​Club Directors may only challenge the seeding of the team(s) directly adjacent to theirs on the Florida Region ranking report. Club Directors are responsible for maintaining head-to-head and win/loss results for their teams. A summary of those results must be submitted to the Ranking Challenge Committee (email to [email protected]) no later than two weeks prior to the AFVC if you wish to challenge your placement in the ranking results.
If no challenge is issued, the rankings listed on the Florida Region ranking report will be final, subject to the discretion of the Ranking Challenge Committee.

Teams that do not check-in by the respective time will be dropped from the tournament, be issued a sanction from the Florida Region, and will not be issued a refund for the event.

Service animals are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for persons with disabilities. Service animals are to remain on leash and under the control of their handler at all times. Comfort or emotional support animals are not service animals and are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Thank you for your compliance with this policy!

To receive medical care at a USA Volleyball sanctioned event or activity in Florida, the completed form will need to be presented to any medical provider before care may be administered.
This form is no longer required. However, the Florida Region recommends that clubs collect this form from every athlete.
