This program will apply to Junior ages 16 and 17 who are interested in coaching. These individuals must meet the following standards:
  • They must be at least 16 years of age
  • They must be IMPACT/SafeSport Trained
  • They must be at least 4 years older than the age group in which they help coach
  • The club director must recommend the applicant

Waiver Requirements: ​The underage coach cannot be listed as the Head or Assistant Coach. The region requires that an adult, age 18 or above, be at all practices and competitions to handle emergencies that may arise and to assist in the supervision of the team. The Waiver only applies to USAV Sanctioned Event in the Florida Region, and the waiver should be with the Jr. Coach Trainee at all times.

Note: When waiver is recieved and the athlete is approved, the Jr. Coach In Training Membership will be added to the athletes SportsEngine profile. After the membership is added, the athlete must complete the required IMPACT and SafeSport training courses to become fully eligible for the Jr. Coach in Training Waiver from the Florida Region.
An email with instructions will be sent once the membership has been added to the athletes account.
